Spring or autumn? Here's how Nepal's trekking seasons compare, region by region.

Autumn (late September to November) is Nepal's most popular trekking season — stable weather, clear mountain views, and the Dashain and Tihar festivals happening across the country.

Spring (March to May) runs a close second, with warmer days and blooming rhododendron forests, though visibility can be hazier than autumn in the lower hills.

Winter (December to February) is excellent for lower-altitude treks like Poon Hill but too cold for high passes, while the monsoon (June to August) is best avoided everywhere except the rain-shadow regions of Upper Mustang and Dolpo.
